This was the album that started it all. I recorded this my senior year of high school around the time I was applying to college, knowing that if I didn't record an album then and there I might not get another chance for several years due to college and the directions life might take after that. It's a very special album to me because it is a true snapshot of who I was as a fiddler and a musician at that time. The music I ate, lived, and breathed at that time was traditional Irish music and that is in full force here. I also made a point to showcase some of my compositions, considering that to be a prerequisite to releasing an album. Of course that's not true, but it kicked off a journey of composition which I am still on. It was a huge honor to get to work with some heroes of mine such as John Doyle and John Skelton. I'll never forget how serious they took the project and the sublime musicianship they brought to this project. I hope you enjoy :) Released August 1, 2005 Andrew Finn Magill - compositions, fiddle Will MacMorran - bouzouki John Doyle - guitars John Skelton - flute Al Petteway - Recording & mixing engineer Bill Wolf - mastering engineer
